2022 MINI Countryman New Features

The entire lineup of new MINI models sees changes this year. The front fascia is significantly restyled, with a larger grille, new bumpers, and new headlights that also include the fog lights. There are new paint colors, new interior surface materials, and roof finishes that have a striking color gradient.

This year's highlight, however, is the new Boardwalk Edition, a high-level trim that combines the mechanicals from the S trim with the Premium package included as standard equipment, plus Cross Punch leather upholstery, wireless charging, and an exclusive Deep Laguna Metallic finish.


2022 MINI Countryman Performance

All four powertrains, including a robust 301 horsepower John Cooper Works variant and a 221 horsepower plug-in hybrid return from last year. 2022 MINI Countryman Interior and Technology

The interior, with its panoramic sunroof, doesn't just look spacious; it is. There's ample space for five passengers, and with 17.2 to 47.4 cubic feet of cargo volume, plenty of storage as well. Available amenities include an upgraded infotainment system that supports Apple CarPlay®, a Harman Kardon sound system, and a number of other upgrades.


2022 MINI Countryman Safety Features

This small crossover is big on safety. Attentiveness Assist (a driver alert feature), Active Driving Assistant (with forward collision warning and AEB), and a rear-view camera all come standard.

MINI Clubman or MINI Countryman?

Although they're similar, the MINI Clubman has a lower ground clearance and center of gravity. That improves handling, but doesn't perform as well as the MINI Countryman off-road.
